DivorceCare

DivorceCare is a support group of people that find in each other hope and encouragement as they go through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Facilitated by compassionate men and women from Genesis Church, those who join for weekly and/or monthly group sessions will be guided through a Christ-centered format. It is within these times together that the lived experiences of anger, depression, financial challenges, forgiveness, guilt, shame, embarrassment, effects upon children, starting new relationships, and healing from divorce are discussed openly and honestly.

Don’t go through separation or divorce alone. This is friendly, caring group of people will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Current Session:

A fall session, starting on September 21, will meet on Tuesdays from 6:30 - 8:00 pm at the Community Health and Education Center, which is located across the parking lot from the main entrance of NMRH. This group meets weekly to watch videos followed by discussion. Also, Christy Thompson, LLPC (Limited License Professional Counselor) will be providing a support group for children in families that are experiencing divorce.
