Jesus came not to be served, but to serve others. We desire to serve others individually by carefully listening, mowing a yard for free, or simply encouraging friends in life. We desire to serve the community at large through need-targeted events such as giving away free warm clothes, or free work for those with physical needs. Divorce-care and job-loss support groups are other goals.

So often friends don’t know where to go to discuss and explore their big questions. “How do we know God is real? How can we know the Bible is true? If God is good, why did I lose my job and my family is going down the tubes?” Here at Genesis, one of our priorities is to provide new group opportunities where friends from the Boyne area can meet to discuss and explore questions like these and find real support in life. These groups discuss one anonymous question from a group member each week while interacting with the Bible and exploring the person of Jesus along the way.
